They seemed to be understaffed the night we were there. The steaks were not prepared correctly. We had two other friends dining there the same time and they also had improperly cooked steaks. The meat was tough for a high end steak house.

The food and service was good. A little more pricey than we would have paid, if we had done it on our own (we had a Gift Card)
Enjoyed it.
However, we and another couple were the only patrons there in the 1:00-2:30 time frame that we were there

The food and service was excellent. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the lobster was excellent also. We will definantly eat there again when in Birmingham. The atmosphere was great and the noise level was at a minimum.

Very nice place! Took my wife there to celebrate an accomplishment and we were very pleased. Food was excellent and our server could not have been better. Good location and easy parking.
Nitpicks: Being able to see/slightly hear the basketball game from the bar sort of hurts the upscale atmosphere, as did the fact that most of the other customers were not dressed in "business casual" (dressed nice, but jeans w/ sneakers). But, it was lunch so that maybe there was some variance there. We were the only people there @ @ 1:30 on a Saturday, so it was otherwise very quite.

8:45 reservation. Slow service, very noisy, waiter and waitress (team servers) had to repeat therselves several times due to noise from adjoining tables. Waiter forgot our dessert order even though it had to be ordered with our meal due to prep time needed. Steak fries and sauteed onions were warm, not hot and fresh. Creamed spinach was excellent. Steak was cooked to perfection, but had gristle (hard spots) in it. This was not the romantic evening I had planned for my wife while staying at the Wynfrey Hotel.
