This place has a very interesting French menu including even cassoulet which was very good. There are some tasty fish and meat entrres. At our table the lamb was superb, the steak frites judged to be excellent ( and some went home). The wine list is reasonable and heavily french with good reds and whites from Borbeaux, the Loire, Burgundy and the Rhone Valley. We enjoyed the Amiral Beycheville even though it was quite young. Desserts were French to the core and everyone ate theirs to the last bite. This is a real gem out in Annapolis. Put it on your list. We will return.

The service and atmosphere was outstanding! Unfortunately, the food was uneven. The cassoulet special and the creme brulee were great, but the others dishes weren't quite at the same level. The fried calamari was extremely salty and the cream puffs for the profiteroles were heavy and chewy.

We were nicely greeted by the maitre'd and seated immediately. The house and the goat cheese w/pistachio salads were large and delicious. The dressings were home made. The seared tuna and the lamb chops were expertly done. It as the first time in over 50 years since I have tried brussel sprouts because they're not a favorite of mine. But, both my wife and I agreed that they were deliciously prepared. We shared a desert special of the day,frasier. It is strawberries in a light custard with a crust of thin white chocolate. It was incredible! The only disappointment was the double espresso, which was a bit weak. They have an excellent assortment of wines by the bottle and a nice by the glass menu as well.
