What are Dining Reward Points?
For every restaurant reservation you make on OpenTable -- for yourself, a colleague, or someone else -- you'll earn Dining Rewards Points which you can redeem for Dining Cheques. Dining Cheques can be used at any OpenTable restaurant nationwide. Find out more about our Dining Rewards Program.
What is a diner profile?
After registering as an OpenTable user, you can create diner profiles for people for whom you make restaurant
reservations. You can always add diners, edit profiles or remove names from your account at a later date.
How do I know that restaurants receive the reservations I make on OpenTable?
When you book a table on OpenTable.com, your reservation is instantly recorded in the restaurant's computerized reservation book - the same one the restaurant's host uses to track all reservations. Unlike other "online" reservation services which rely on faxes or table allocations, OpenTable has live Internet connections into the restaurants themselves. So restaurant availability information is up-to-date, and your reservations are confirmed.
How can I participate if I've already signed up for OpenTable?
If you already have a standard OpenTable account but would like an Administrative Professional account, log in to your account and select My Profile. Below your name you will have an option to select "I am an administrative professional who books reservations for others". Select this option and then select "Update Profile" to confirm the change.
