: We offer complimentary valet parking as well as self parking in the rear of the restaurant.
Catering
: Gravitas offers off-site catering for parties of all types and sizes! From hors d'oeuvres and cocktails for 400 to an intimate six course Chef's tasting menu prepared in your home - we do it all. We are an independently owned restaurant which gives us the flexibility to go above and beyond our client's expectations. Our in-house Event Coordinator is committed to working one-on-one with our clients from start to finish to create a customized and unique event. Private Party Facilities
: The Sidebar and patio can be exclusively reserved for private parties and accommodates 160 people. The Sidebar tables can be reserved any night of the week where bottle service, hors d’oeuvres, and late-night bar menu are available. We also offer the option of reserving the entire restaurant! As an independently owned business we have a high level of flexibility and will work with you to create the perfect party - so don't be afraid to ask!

We offer customized menus that range in price from $35 up to our $85 chef's tasting menu. We also offer an extensive list of hors d'oeuvres that can be passed, placed or served in a buffet style setting. Our upstairs private room accommodates up to 65 people seated and 100 mingling. It is a versatile space that can be configured to any occasion. For any event upstairs we offer a 50" flat screen plasma television to display Power Point presentations, sporting events, photographs and videos. The bar and patio can be reserved for private parties and accommodates up to 100 people respectively. For large parties we offer the option of reserving the entire restaurant. As an independently owned restaurant we have a high level of flexibility and are willing to work with you to create the perfect party - don't be afraid to ask. My husband and I have been to Gravitas before and loved it, but on New Year's Eve we decided to take all of our friends. Even though it was a special holiday menu, everyone was blown away by the flavors and quality! I believe we've started a new New Year's Eve tradition!

Had dinner with newly hired colleagues. First a drink at the bar - efficient but uninspired service. Dinner in the restaurant was great: good food, reasonable service, good timing. Unfortunate that the wine we chose was no longer available, but the sommelier suggested another bottle which was very good. Overall a nice evening out - but had expected a more "WOW" experience.

Went for lunch and a little disappointed with the service. We started with one waitress and pretty sure we finished with a hostess. Once we ordered, out food came quickly, but we sat without drinks for quite some time and then it was another long time before we ordered. If we have been on a regular lunch hour schedule we would have been late to work.

A bit on the noisy side, but not deafening, Gravitas, unlike most Houston restaurants serves consistently excellent food and its tables are well tended by its thoughtful and attentive staff. Well frequented yet casual, Gravitas is definitely a favorite in Houston.

Food and service was excellent!! Great bar area, and seemed to be very energetic. Wine list left something to be desired, and was a bit over-priced. Parking is an issue. Overall a great experience, and we look forward to going back again soon!

I had lunch here with a friend. We decided against a full meal and opted for a bottle of wine and some appetizers. We had the beet salad and cheese in filo pastry. Both were delicious. The yellow and purple beets were fresh and mixes with arugula and goat cheese with a light balsamic dressing. Very good. The cheese pastry was tasty as well. The wine (A-Z Pinot Noir) was fairly priced and an easy drink.
The service was, as expected here, wonderful. Gravitas always has the friendliest and most responsive service staff.

The food was surprisingly fantastic - especially the gnocchi and the filet. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Try the Fontaine Blue cocktail - very, very good. Everything was excellent - we will be back!
