Took my mother here for her birthday on a Sunday afternoon and she loved the food. Salmon was great as well as the pizza. Clean, quiet and classy atmosphere both inside and outside. The staff was helpful and friendly over the phone as well as when we arrived. Good place to go for some Italian when in Annapolis.

Had an 8:30 PM reservation on Sat and the place was packed, with lots of energy. Our seating was a little late, but not too bad. Staff was friendly. Salad was fresh with excellent roasted pine nuts. My son had a lovely veal dish and I had the pappardelle with roasted lamb marinara. Very nice and ample portions. Wine for a "full" glass was pricey--I had the lowest priced Sangiovese at $8 and it was maybe 1/3 of an average red wine glass. They offer half glasses as well...imagine that must be pretty skimpy. For some reason, they were slow to bring the check...we had to get our server's attention and ask for it. Overall excellent dining experience.

Everything was delicious. On our last visit we were a little dismayed to find that the spaghetti carbonara is now fettucini carbonara, this time, we asked for linguini instead of fettucini and it was just as good as it used to be. Also our server was fantastic! (Sidenote, we ended up going for brunch the next day and that was great too--only one issue, I called and confirmed that brunch went until 3 p.m., they told me yes, I asked if there were drinks included-champagne drinks on special for $3.50. When we got the bill, they had charged us for two full price drinks (without warning us when we ordered that the special time was ending) which were $9.25 a piece! RIDICULOUS and really put a damper on an otherwise nice brunch)

This is the third year our "reunion" has been held at Carpaccio's and we could not be happier. Everyone has been so wonderful on each visit. We will return for our reunion next year.

We were served bruschetta immediately - nice bread and fragrant lovely tomato topping. It set the tone for a lovely long lunch with great food and wine. The carpaccio tuna was excellent, also had scallop app which was very good and shells - nice experience overall. The waitress was attentive without hovering.

The ambiance of the restaurant was as would be expected for a fancy Italian restaurant. The two particular dishes we ordered, however, did not have a good blend of flavors. I had Fusilli Salsiccia & Rapini (pasta with sausage and spinach in garlic wine sauce) and the garlic was overpowering to the point that, in my opinion, it ruined the dish. My wife ordered carbonara, which I enjoyed greatly, but she found it to have too much smokey flavor.

Carpaccio was a last minute decision and it was a great one. The appetizers and entrees were wonderful and i was very pleased that our waitress was knowledgeable enough to answer my questions about the wine list. We can't wait to go back.

I highly recommend this restaurant. I went on New Year's Eve which was a very busy night. Everyone there was friendly, helpful, and the four different dishes that my party had were delicious as were the desserts. The service was great, and we were not rushed. I can't comment on the Special Features that I did not check, since I have been there only for early dinners on weekends. This is the third time the four of us (two couples) have gone there on December 31, because our experiences have been so positive.
