"Celebrating my husband's birthday, we chose a new place to dine. We'd never dined here but had heard great reviews. While most of the food was excellent, there were a few items that were just not good. The pork loin was a a 2 inch thick bone in chop that was difficult to cut and barely cooked. I would not recommend it. However, the seabass, the goat cheese & beet salad were outstanding. Our dining service was extremely SLOW. There were only a dozen tables occupied in the entire restaurant, yet our dinner service took over 2 hours. It was just too drawn out. We watched several tables around us get served and leave before we ever even had our entrees. We won't be back for a while - unless we have a lot of time to kill."

"The night started out well and we were impressed with the decor and setup of the restaurant. Our server Adam was very good but our entres were terrible. The beer and wine selection was good and our calamari appetizer was excellent. The chicken parmesan was fair, little taste from little seasoning but it was cooked well. The lobster Mac was tasty but very salty. The bone in ribeye looked amazing and tasted OK for an aged cut but there was so much silver skin and gristle that I could not eat it. My 26 once master piece turned into an 8 oz disappointment. We will not be returning ."

"My children from out of town joined me for Easter Brunch at Bel Lago. This is the 2nd special event I've hosted at Bel Lago, and it was excellent, as was the 1st. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food; it was first rate."

"Usually I love Bel Lago and is always one of my go to restaurants for brunch/lunch and on sundays with the brunch buffet with such a great selection I usually send people with strong recommendation. Easter they may have underestimated the demand and things were constantly empty, our server couldn't clear plates at any of his tables, and to get a drink from the bar of even a water was a labored effort. I would still recommend this restaurant but will probably steer clear during holidays and special event afternoons."
