Inspired by the tastes, smells and festive atmosphere of Latin America and Spain, Barrio, meaning neighborhood or community, aims to further instill downtown Columbus with a type of relationship typical to Latin culture. A true tapas restaurant, Barrio’s small plate menu features authentic Latin dishes, which are perfectly complemented by a wine list heavy with the flavors of South America and Spain. Like many Latin American neighborhoods, Barrio prides itself as being a gathering place designed with the concept of cohesive spaces, sharing and diversity.
The architecture can be best described as sophisticated yet relaxed, juxtaposed against an urban backdrop. The interior’s brick and natural wood slabs make the environment rustic and chic. Barrio also houses a large upstairs space perfect for private events. The simple, yet stylish space overlooks the lights and scenes of downtown Columbus and is quickly becoming a locally coveted space for parties and special occasions.

Private Party Facilities: Barrio houses a large upstairs room that can be separated into 2 private event spaces. The dining room area can accommodate up to 60 people for a seated event and 100 people for a cocktail event. The lounge area, complete with floor to ceiling curtains, can be sectioned off for small, casual events or left open to serve as a cocktail area for larger events. The simple, yet stylish space overlooks the lights and scenes of downtown Columbus. Also included are microphone, band/DJ and projector capabilities. Guests can also reserve our 2 community tables located on the first floor in the bar area. Each table has bench style seating and can accommodate up to 10 people.
