"The steak was ok I have had better. The baked potato could have been cooked longer, cooked to what you would use for mashed potatoes. Sat near the kitchen so it was pretty loud and a lot of traffic."

"Alexander's Steakhouse is an exceptional restaurant. And everything about it is exceptional. But sometimes food doesn't have to be so exotic to be delicious. For example, I thought the sea salt foam on the oysters detracted from the enjoyment/quality of the oysters themselves. I thought the BBQ lamb and batter dipped chicken appetizers were unusual and wonderful. Steaks were great as usual. Scoop of ice cream on the desert should have been bigger."

"Overall Alexander's Steakhouse was a fantastic restaurant. The service and food were top notch. Be forewarned you will need to dip into your savings to eat here even if only two of you. My only complaint was where they sat us the lighting was very dim. We had to hold the table candle up to the menu in order to see it."

"Overall, my dining experience was great and the most notable plus was actually service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and we were delighted by all the attentative, yet very discrete services that the staff provided us. And the wine recommendation was also right on the spot. A great dining experience should always include great services. In terms of the food, I think it is more of an issue of matching taste - they serve dry aged steak and by now I realize I prefer the taste of fresh steak. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Alexander's meat, I like them better than Peter Lugar's steak (which is also dry-aged) in New York, to say the least. We ordered their signature bone-in rib-eye and NY strip, both were grilled to perfection"

"Our waiter was very helpful in suggesting that we try to different steaks and then share them. If you are sitting in one of the small tables along the wall there is not much light to read the menu. There should be a little more light or the print in the menu should be a little bigger."
