AJ's specializes in fresh gulf seafood serving the best the gulf has to offer. Everything at Aj's from our crab cakes to our cheesecake is made in house from scratch, prepared to order. We serve fresh Florida black grouper, Gulf red fish, and many other gulf species. AJ's also serves only the best meats from our Tanglewood farms chicken and Kurobuta pork, to our certified Hereford beef. Our atmosphere is elegant yet modern. We also offer outside dining on our patio with a peaceful setting. AJ's offers happy hour drinks and appetizers from 3:30 to 6:30 everyday.

First-rate dark roux gumbo, but variable otherwise. "Blackened redfish" turned out to be baked tilapia with blackening spice mix. Wine list needs help and servers are short on experience. Rated "very good" for its region, but it's a gastronomically backward region.

For a fine dining establishment, AJ's has a nice selection of seafood and beverages. We liked our dishes, despite missing a key ingredient in the shrimp and avocado salad. The service was good and attentive. The atmosphere quaint and intimate.

We have dined multiple times at AJs. The food on New Years Eve was just "ok.". There was a lot of breading on the redfish and the potatoes were pretty bland. Not my best meal there, for sure. Big party with crying children arrived at 8:30 which didn't exactly add to the atmosphere. Have definitely had better experiences there on non-holiday occasions.

Great food! Nice view of the lake. Well done interior. Look forward to returning. Only reason service did not rank higher is that the young waitress had a limited knowledge of the wine and how to present it. This will come with experience.

I have used Open Table many times for booking my reservations, however, AJ's was the first place to ever call me back to confirm my reservations. Something so simple, yet very nice to have done. The food was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We will surely be going back to AJ's.

It's a nice location, and the service was great. The food was fantastic, and I think a good value for what you get. It is loud, but there was a christmas party or something going on, so that might've added more than normal. It does seem the acoustics don't help, but I could be wrong. I will be back, I recommend to anyone who wants good seafood.
